The Agent RiA: registeredinart platform was conceived and initiated in March 2010 at a time when it was difficult to access works online. Developed as part of my research approach, I invited artists working with performance, sound and video, often alongside other methods in their practice, to share works on the channel. New works by different artists were uploaded periodically, adding to a collection, with the intention of creating a shared community for works, encourage conversation around new areas of public art and access audiences less familiar with artists’ moving image.

The Agent RiA:registerdinart projects received the generous support of Hope Scott Trust and Creative Scotland

The online programme has become a resource, with works selected for festivals (Papay Gyro Nights, Orkney) and shows in the UK (Tate Modern, London) and USA (Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography, Michigan).

RiA also developed an expanding off-line programme with presentations and screenings at: Careof / DOCVA, Milan, 2013; Stills, Edinburgh, 2012; Edinburgh Middle Eastern Film Festival, Filmhouse Cinema, Edinburgh, 2012; Edinburgh Art Festival, 2011; Hogmanay Festival, Mound Precinct, National Galleries Complex, Edinburgh 2011.
